Mary's Boy Child/Oh My Lord es uno de los temas con más mixes que conozco de la discografia de Boney M.
Fué Nº 1 en UK en las navidades de 1978 durante varias semanas.
Estos 2 mixes del tema son diferentes, el de UK es parecido a la version que se editó en single en alemania que es la que se incluye en el CD "Nightflight To Venus" como primer bonus track, pero bastante más corta.
En el mix que se hizo para el single editado en españa el señor FARIAN le recortó la ultima estrofa y es un poco más largo que el que se incluye en el "Christmas Album" de 1981.
Es un tema del que exiten infinidad de versiones y que no suele faltar en ninguna de las recopilaciones de todos sus grandes exitos.
La primera version editada en Lp fué en 1980 en su album recopilatorio "The Magic Of Boney M. 20 Golden Hits" pero en una version bastante más corta...

No es nada del otro mundo, pero la repeti la segunda estrofa y me gustó como ha quedado.
Siempre pensé que esta cancion deberia haber sido un poco más larga.
Por el buen ritmo que tiene, es una de las que más me gusta del album "10.000 Lightyears" de 1984...
